Operations consulting for mid-market manufacturers

You added people. Your output did not move.

Most plants do not have a speed problem. They have a waiting problem, and it hides in the gaps between departments where nobody owns the clock. We find those gaps in three weeks and hand you the three fixes with the fastest payback.

No prep work on your side. You keep the process map whether or not we work together.

How we work

Three weeks, three deliverables

  • A map of every handoff

We follow one real order end to end and timestamp every queue it sits in. You see the wait time between your departments, not just the run time inside them.

  • Three fixes, ranked by payback

You get a shortlist scored on hours recovered per week against cost to implement. The first project funds the second, so you never need a capital request to start.

  • Supervisors who can hold the gain

We train your line leads on the new standard work and leave the templates behind. When we walk out, the improvement stays because your people own it.

Results

Priya Raman, VP of Operations at Northgate Industrial.

"We had hired two more estimators and still shipped the same volume. Demo Client Co showed us that 40 percent of our cycle time was sitting in an approval queue nobody owned. Quote turnaround went from nine days to four, and it has held for a year."

Questions

What operations leaders ask us first

How long before we see anything useful?

You get the handoff map in week two, before any recommendations. Several clients have acted on it themselves at that point, which is fine. The ranked fix list follows in week three.

Do you need us to stop production while you observe?

No. We work around your schedule and observe live runs. Total time we ask from your team is roughly six hours across three weeks, mostly short conversations with supervisors on their own floor.

What if the fix turns out to be software we do not have?

Then we say so plainly and we do not sell it to you. We take no vendor referral fees. In most engagements the top two fixes are scheduling and ownership changes that cost nothing but attention.

Find out where your three weeks are going

Thirty minutes on a call. We ask about your last late order and tell you which of the four usual constraints it points to. If we are not a fit, we will say that on the call.
